This visualisation piece of music I composed and wrote, titled “Memories,” in order to translate the sounds into visual stimuli, allowing them to be comprehended by someone who is deaf or hard of hearing. It makes use of creative captioning and different shapes and scales inspired by graphic notation. While its lyrics themselves are relatively simplistic, the underlying goal is to evoke memories that do not involve sight or sound, but rather touch, smell and taste, allowing more viewers to be able to take something from the video.

YouTube
My journey into making sound began with a humble little channel where I would create simple mashups of popular songs for my friends’ and my own amusement.
Below is one of the first mashups I uploaded in 2020, now with over 31,000 views, with many more to follow before I started making my own original music.
About

Me
Sound and music have always been central to my life, and during my Bachelor of Design studies at RMIT, they became my primary focus. I had hands-on experience in composition, mixing, and mastering while mastering tools such as Reaper, Ableton Live, TouchDesigner, Adobe Premiere, and After Effects. As part of my studies, I released my first electronic EP, Merry-Go-Round Nightmare, now available on SoundCloud and Bandcamp.
RMIT nurtured my passion for music and sound design, inspiring me to pursue further opportunities through networking and collaboration. My goal is to continuously expand my portfolio and contribute to innovative projects in the industry.
